Chris shared how, after 25 years in financial services and over 45 years behind a camera, he’s now embracing what truly lights him up — photographing people and the natural world. From sitting quietly in a ditch waiting to capture wildlife, to taking professional headshots that reflect real personality, Chris brings authenticity and care to every frame.
COVID and shifts in the industry made him rethink where he wanted to focus his energy. That moment became the spark for selling off his older kit and investing in professional gear — reigniting his creative path and building a new chapter.
He might joke that he's “not a videographer,” but anyone who’s seen his event photography knows Chris has a sharp eye for storytelling.

What is Hot Stories?
Every second Wednesday of the month, from 10am–12pm, we meet at The Red Lion in Cherry Hinton. These in-person sessions are designed to help local businesses share their story, grow their network, and find genuine support.
